A Jessner peel is a medium-depth chemical peel that combines three active ingredients: salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol. Together they exfoliate damaged layers of skin and stimulate cell renewal, which leaves your complexion brighter and more even.
Most clients feel a mild tingling or warmth while the peel is applied, similar to a light sunburn. It fades shortly after the peel is neutralized, and we check on your comfort throughout the treatment.
The full peeling cycle takes about 7-14 days. Visible flaking usually starts around day 4 and clears up within a week. Most clients schedule their peel around their social plans, though many feel fine going about their day within a few days.
