IPL Photofacial · Griffin, GA
Brown spots, stubborn redness, uneven tone — our OptiLight IPL photofacial treats what sun and time leave behind. Gentle sessions, results that hold for years.
The Treatment
Intense pulsed light uses broad-spectrum wavelengths to break up pigment and reduce visible redness, without damaging the skin's surface. You'll see clearer, more even tone over the days that follow.
We assess your skin tone, history, and goals, then map your treatment areas.
Calibrated pulses pass over each area in measured passes. You'll feel warmth, not pain.
Pigment darkens and lifts away over 7–10 days while the skin heals.
What It Addresses
IPL targets four visible concerns. Pigment lifts and redness fades as your skin clears over the days that follow.
01
Brown spots, age spots, freckling from accumulated UV exposure.
02
Rosacea, persistent flushing, broken capillaries.
03
Mottled tone, dullness, loss of brightness.
04
Smoother texture and a brighter overall complexion.

Recommended Plan
We recommend three IPL sessions spaced about four weeks apart, then one or two maintenance visits per year.
Visit One · Week 0
The deepest pigment lifts first. Expect a soft darkening before it sheds.
Visit Two · Week 4
Mid-depth pigment and broken capillaries start to fade.
Visit Three · Week 8
Final session. Tone evens out, brightness improves, and the result holds.
Maintenance · Seasonal
One or two visits per year to maintain your results.

Before & After Your Visit
A few steps in the weeks before your visit, and the days after.
In the four weeks leading up to your visit.

Disclose recent medications.Tell us about antibiotics, isotretinoin in the last 6 months, and any photosensitizing prescriptions.
In the 7–10 days following each session.

Gentle cleansers only.Skip exfoliants, retinoids, and active ingredients for five days.
Cool down 24 hours. No hot water, saunas, steam rooms, or strenuous workouts the day of.
Let pigment shed naturally.Spots may darken before they lift. Don't pick or scrub. The process takes 7–10 days.
Questions We Hear Often
If yours isn't here, bring it to your consultation. We'd rather answer twice than rush you.
IPL is best suited to lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III). Every consultation includes a skin-tone evaluation and a small test pulse on your first visit. If we don't think it's safe for your skin, we won't proceed.
Most clients describe it as a warm rubber-band snap. Pulses are brief. Cooling is available if you'd like.
None to minimal. You may notice mild redness for a few hours, then darkening of the pigment for 7–10 days before it sheds. You can wear makeup the next day.
Initial brightening shows within 7–14 days of your first session. The full effect (even tone, less pigment, less redness) develops across the series of three.
Years, with disciplined sun protection. Most clients come in for one or two maintenance sessions per year.
We schedule IPL primarily fall through early spring. Treating tanned skin isn't safe or effective. If you've had too much sun, we'll reschedule.
